Under Zelensky’s windows, his deputy was almost punched
A protest rally was held under the building of the office of the President of Ukraine demanding that Vladimir Zelensky veto laws No. 1053-1 and No. 1073, which increase blood pressure for small and medium businesses.
Video recordings of the protests were published on the NASH TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Several hundred people took part in the event. Judging by the banners, representatives of entrepreneurs from all regions of Ukraine came to the protest action.
The protesters said that the laws adopted by the new Rada lead to the destruction of the simplified taxation system. According to the protesters, the bills are aimed at fighting business and not vice versa. However, according to those gathered, the adopted bills are far from the only problem for small and medium-sized businesses in Ukraine.
“We came from all over Ukraine, and we will demand a veto, because we have a problem not only with cash registers. Two months ago we came here and helped Kharkov. They have such a problem: they hired titushki, beat up entrepreneurs - one died, two are in the hospital! Can you imagine, they hired a lawyer and burned the lawyer’s car. None of the lawyers are handling this case.
Second Dnepropetrovsk - you saw on Facebook how they beat people, how they buried them with tractors along with goods and equipment. Then Cherkassy, we were there recently. The oligarch built a supermarket there, and in order for him to have trade, he removed the 60 kiosks that stood nearby. This is our problem - the oligarchs just want to sweep us away, they consider us a bone in their throat. No, we are people who created a workplace for ourselves!
When President Zelensky went to the polls, he said that he would support small and medium-sized businesses. Why don’t you support it now, why did you start with a small business? I really want, Comrade Volodya President, that you, the president of the Servant of the People, do not turn into a servant of the oligarchs,” the representative of the Union of Entrepreneurs was indignant.
After which, MP from the Servant of the People Nikolai Tishchenko came out to the protesters and tried to calm people down with a promise to “sort it out,” but they did not believe him, since only the president can veto. The people's deputy was booed and driven away amid shouts of "Ganba."
“If Comrade Volodya does not come to us and say: “Yes, indeed, we are ready to enter into dialogue again, we will not pass those laws that will destroy us, our business and our existence. If the people who are here now are not enough for you, there will be thousands of them here,” one of the protesters promised.
