There are no specific outlines yet on the possible parameters of a new meeting in the Normandy format, as well as on the date of bilateral contacts between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov told reporters about this, TASS reports.
“No, there is no date yet,” he said, answering a question about the progress of preparations for a new meeting of the Normandy Four. Speaking about the timing of a possible meeting between Putin and Zelensky, Peskov clarified: “So far there are no outlines for a possible meeting with President Zelensky.”
Speaking about preparations for the next meeting in the Normandy format, Peskov noted that there are certain deadlines for holding meetings of experts and meetings of presidential aides. “In fact, this is where the preparation will take place at the expert level,” he said.
At the same time, the Kremlin representative noted that in terms of holding negotiations between the presidents of Russia and Ukraine, “there are more questions than answers.”
“So far there are no outlines for a meeting with President Zelensky, and there are also no outlines for the timing of the Normandy format,” the Kremlin representative repeated. - Work is underway. As soon as something is agreed upon, we will inform you.” The presidential press secretary added that a meeting of aides to heads of state could take place in the near future.
