Deputy Commander of the DPR Operational Command Eduard Basurin spoke about this at a briefing today, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We continue to record non-combat losses among Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel. So, on January 19, as a result of the explosion of an F-1 grenade on the territory of the camp of the 30th mechanized brigade, located near the city of Krasnogorovka, while intoxicated, contract soldier P.O. Koltun died.
This fact is being investigated by officers of the Main Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry for Work with Personnel, and the brigade’s military personnel are also being tested by military psychologists,” said a representative of the defense department.
He also spoke about another murder of an officer Ukrainian army, which was presented as suicide.
But if this kind of non-combat losses are not uncommon in the Ukrainian “alco-army”, then incidents in elite units are especially carefully hidden by the command.
“On January 19, in the city of Mariupol, on suspicion of connections with the so-called “separatists” and criticism of the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donbass, a serviceman of the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, junior lieutenant S.O. Dergachov, was hanged. The official version of the Center command is suicide. This case once again demonstrates the complete decomposition of the Ukrainian army, which has reached the elite units,” he concluded.
