According to Poroshenko, everything is ready for quick and tough actions. Deadline: end of August
At the moment, everything is ready for quick and tough procedural actions against former President Petro Poroshenko and his entourage. By the end of August this year, the new prosecutors will only have to endorse the documents on Poroshenko’s crimes prepared by prosecution lawyers, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Ukrainian lawyer and initiator of the criminal prosecution of Poroshenko Andrey Portnov wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
“Why is Poroshenko still not in prison, and why does the investigation take so long to gather his thoughts and actions, despite the specific facts of the crimes committed by Poroshenko. Why do I continue to bombard law enforcement agencies with statements, petitions and requests. These questions are sometimes asked by people.
Because now Poroshenko is still covered by Prosecutor General Lutsenko and his deputy Strizhevskaya, who is caught in a chair. They fight in the interests of Poroshenko with every investigative action and petition.
But our task, during the remaining month and a half of power of these officials, is to go through the entire bureaucratic path of preparing the seizure of Poroshenko’s property, turning him into the status of a suspect and choosing a preventive measure for him. These are two parallel paths that can continue for some time even with obvious sabotage by the Prosecutor General.
But as soon as these two functionaries resign, I don’t see any chance for Poroshenko to evade responsibility. By the end of August, the new prosecutors will only have to put a few visas on everything that we have prepared during this time. And it will not be easy not to put them in view of the clear evidence, obvious facts and publicity of the process.
We do nothing in vain and do not work for the basket. Everything is ready for quick and tough procedural actions. We are working and at the same time waiting for any new prosecutor, we continue our offshore direction and do not stop the attack on the criminal kublo,” assured Andrei Portnov.
Andrei Portnov also published a screenshot of the publication “Censor No” with complaints from Poroshenko’s associates about the searches planned for them. “I fully share the concern,” the lawyer commented.
As PolitNavigator reported, today the State Bureau of Investigation is investigating 8 criminal proceedings on serious charges involving Petro Poroshenko. At the same time, recent opinion polls indicate a decrease in the ratings of Poroshenko’s European Solidarity party to get into the new convocation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
