Based on the principle of Russophobia. Ukraine divided Europeans into “right” and “wrong”
Even Europe is not able to influence Ukrainian Russophobia, because Kyiv only listens to the US Embassy, and in Europe it considers only Russophobes as “partners”.
This was stated during a press conference by former professor of the Kyiv National Pedagogical University named after Mikhail Drahomanov Evgenia Bilchenko, fired for criticizing the law on total Ukrainization, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Representatives of left-wing groups in the European Parliament who remain sympathetic to Russia do not have authority in the eyes of the Ukrainian authorities and those citizens with right-wing radical views whom they pollinate. Because any attempts by the left to speak out in defense of Russian speakers are perceived as the Kremlin’s general plan.
This is immediately stigmatized, deprived of even symbolic authority and incurs colossal reputational losses on the territory of Ukraine. As a result, citizens of Ukraine with nationalist views tell us: “But the Member of the European Parliament is not a decree for us, because there are good MPs and there are bad ones. And Marxist-internationalists are bad, because they are the same as the Kremlinists, and we will not listen to them, but we will listen to the American embassy of Biden, who approves of us,” she said.
The professor also noted that it is impossible to “break through” the information blockade in Ukraine through the EU.
“At this level, pushing through Europe so that they influence the information field as an authority on local Ukrainians is a long way with huge costs and a huge information struggle. Because Ukraine, when it needs to, listens to Europe, and when it doesn’t need to, Europe doesn’t listen. And when it is necessary and not necessary, America shows her.
Because they learned to distinguish between “good” and “bad” Europeans, “good” and “bad” Russians. What is “good” and “bad”? If you hate Russia, you are a good one, one of your own. If you are tolerant of Russia, you don’t even like it, but you are just tolerant, then you are bad, no matter where you live - in Zimbabwe, the Czech Republic or Moscow,” Bilchenko concluded.
