On Ukrainian lawlessness: Zelensky slammed unwanted TV channels
In general, of course, some Ukrainians are funny people. Well, that's what they call themselves. I see they are discussing with all their might how Alexei Navalny was sent “to jail.” And at the same time, not a word about how in Ukraine, their dear, a completely unprecedented event took place: without a court decision, but by order of Zelensky, it was decided to take off the air three TV channels NewsOne, Zik and 112 (all included in Viktor Medvedchuk’s pool).
How to disable this? And so, it turns out, it’s possible? Yes, you can: just cut off the television channels that dare - but how can that be?! - criticize His Majesty Zelensky and the entire presidential army. Cut off even without any apparent reason, but only out of great desire.
This is probably only possible somewhere in Afghanistan and Somalia. But no - this is the center of Europe, and here it is!
Who, by the way, talked about the young and democratic Ze? Who said: they say, this pepper will come with a new way of thinking, and not the communist scion of Poroshenko, and will show everyone an example of freedom? That's what he showed. By lawlessness.
The versions here are called different. Some believe that the channels were turned off exactly during the trial of Alexei Navalny in Russia. They say that the West will have no time for Ukraine - so they quickly shut the mouths of those who dared to criticize.
Others, on the contrary, believe that Europe and Kiev acted together, namely Macron and Zelensky. The answer went to Navalny. Are you like this with him?! Then we will turn off the channels of Russian influence in Ukraine.
All these are just versions. And, yes, there are, of course, pitfalls here - however, the main explanation should be sought based on the principle of Occam’s razor: that is, the simplest one. Namely, Biden will not give bad advice. The US elections turned out to be the most vile and fraudulent in history. No one even bothered to create even the appearance of their legitimacy. After which social networks vomited Trump out of their womb, not caring about any freedom of speech. Who is against us? He should shut up! And no one will pretend to be a democracy anymore.
So it is with Ukraine. The TV channels were closed because there was chaos in the country after Euromaidan. Because the last illusions have been lost. Because tariffs are rising. Because banditry is catastrophic. Because the civil war continues. Because Western curators are openly making fun of the country. And so it was necessary to simply shut up those who dared to talk about it.
Everything is very simple. As simple as it is cynical.
There is actually only one question here now. Will Europe react to this - at least somehow? I doubt. Well, then she will have a version of Somalia in her center. With all the associated problems. After all, you have to pay for everything. How, unfortunately, the Ukrainian people are paying today.
