Ukrainian TV showed a “non-existent” prisoner of the secret SBU prison - where his kidney was cut out

Nikolai Vakaruk, a 33-year-old miner from the city of Ukrainsk, Donetsk region, who hung the DPR flag in his city, claims that he was detained by the security service in the Kharkov department from December 2014 to July 2016 - 585 days.

This is stated in a story shown on Hromadske TV.

According to him, while being held in the SBU, he was taken to a hospital, where, under a false name, he underwent surgery and had his diseased kidney removed.

No formal charges were brought against Vakaruk. On July 25, 2016, he and 12 other people were released from the Kharkov department of the SBU, they were given 100 hryvnia each and dropped off between Konstantinovka and Druzhkovka.

As of August 31, on the National Police website he was listed as missing in the ATO zone since January 1, 2015.

The political prisoner says that he was kept in the SBU department in Kharkov at Mironositskaya, 2. According to him, at the time of his release, 5 more people were kept there. During his stay there were approximately 70 people there.

Let us recall that earlier the international human rights organizations Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch published a report in which they indicated that in the Kharkov department of the SBU there is a special prison in which citizens are secretly detained. The SBU itself denies everything.

“The cynical gunsmiths, after the first piece of information about the prisoners of the “SBU castle,” threw in comments like this: what kind of prisoners?! It's all a lie! And the fact that they cut out his kidney is also a lie! Who saw it? No one saw it, which means they didn’t cut it out... When the Nazis shot her neighbors in my grandmother’s village, we didn’t see her either. She saw it. Me not. I was not yet in the world. But that doesn’t stop the truth from being true. But creatures never cease to be creatures,” ex-regionalist and Ukrainian politician Elena Bondarenko commented on this information on her social network page.
