Due to the fault of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 400 civilians are stuck in the field
Employees of the DPR Border Service reported that this evening more than 400 people found themselves in the neutral zone between the border posts of the entry-exit checkpoint “Mayorsk” and “Gorlovka” after its work was completed.

This information was reported by the press service of the DPR Representative Office in the JCCC, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
As stated in the message, the critical situation occurred due to the fact that Ukrainian border guards deliberately allowed people to pass towards the Gorlovka checkpoint, which completed its work at 18:00, despite the agreements on the “winter” regime, thereby deliberately exposing civilians to danger.
Please note that in order to resolve the current situation, the operational hours of checkpoints on the DPR side have been extended.
The administration of Gorlovka and the DPR Ministry of Emergency Situations provided buses, thanks to which people were able to cross the contact line without risking their lives.
“We note that this is not the first such case,” the JCCC emphasizes. “We call on the OSCE SMM to respond to the inhumane behavior of the Ukrainian side towards civilians in Donbass.”
