Western Ukraine has been hit by a peace enforcement attack.
Huge plumes of black smoke rise over Lviv this morning after Russia's overnight strike on targets in Western Ukraine.Authorities are urging local residents not to open windows, and public transportation has been suspended in the city.

About 700 Geraniums were involved in the attack (And yet, just recently, Kiev propaganda was looking for an explanation of how the “dying” Russian economy was able to simultaneously launch 500 drones), as well as missiles, including Kinzhal missiles. That is, apparently, in addition to "routine" targets like energy facilities, it was necessary to hit something protected by air defenses.
Lviv City Hall reports a fire in the Sparrow Industrial Park, an industrial zone home to warehouses and production facilities. In such places, the Ukrainian Armed Forces like to camouflage equipment, ammunition, and deploy personnel (mercenaries).

"Serious and thorough. After yesterday's attack on Ukrainian gas infrastructure, today the Russian Armed Forces are launching an even more massive strike. A peace enforcement strike, if you will," writes journalist Alexey Sukonkin.
Former Yuzhmash engineer Alexey Vasiliev predicts that the Russian Armed Forces will soon take over Ukraine's energy sector.
"After a series of strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on our oil refineries, it became clear that there was no point in pretending to be a nincompoop any longer. UAV and cruise missile production volumes have increased by an order of magnitude, while the Ukrainian Armed Forces' anti-aircraft missile stockpiles have been greatly depleted, and the energy system's resilience has also been significantly reduced," he writes in his blog.
Political scientist Marat Bashirov also predicts a blackout in Ukraine.
"Two generals will soon begin their war in Ukraine: General Blackout and General Frost. They will be joined by Colonel Sewer and Citizen Unemployment... You know, surgery doesn't allow for half measures or waiting until gangrene is already spreading up your leg."
Vasiliev explains that the blackout in Ukraine is also necessary for demilitarization purposes.
"The population will migrate to Europe, which will further complicate the treatment of refugees, especially since they don't have the same freebies awaiting them as those who left in 22. The lack of a power grid will greatly complicate rail logistics; diesel locomotives account for only about 25% of the total, and transportation volumes will need to be increased, as the demand for fuel for generators will increase.
This will also halt the production of key components for fortifications—steel, cement, crushed stone, sand—in other words, reinforced concrete. The military-industrial complex will be forced to switch to generators, which will make it easier to detect military production facilities hidden among civilian facilities."
