“Pamper a lady with cancer”: The ex-mayor of Sevastopol was outraged by the vulgar advertising
Former mayor of Sevastopol Ivan Ermakov expressed outrage at the vulgar advertisement placed on a billboard near one of the city’s busy highways.
“In huge letters there is a call: “Let’s pamper the lady with cancer.” Only he knows what the advertising detector had. If something is sensible, it needs to be expressed somehow more competently. If vulgarism is persecuted, for what purpose? It's a shame for such advertising in the glorious hero city. Where are the caretakers? – Ermakov wrote on his blog.
The poster, which aroused the indignation of the former mayor, advertises the sale of seafood - crayfish, oysters, crabs, shrimp, etc., a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Journalist Victoria Hristova, commenting on Ermakov’s message, recalled a similar scandal in Ukrainian times.
“Once upon a time in the distant 80s, an anti-tobacco poster was hung in Kyiv (sorry, quote!): “A woman who smokes ends up with cancer.” All the students in the city went to admire the pun, which was prohibitive for those times. A day later the poster was removed,” said Hristova.
