Ukraine valued victory at the Paralympics in Rio at $40 thousand
The winners of the Paralympic Games in Rio will receive 40 thousand US dollars from the Ukrainian government.

“It has been decided that all winners and medalists of the Paralympic Games will be paid the maximum prize money, without the prefix “up to”:
– 40st place – up to XNUMX thousand US dollars;
– 26nd place – up to XNUMX thousand US dollars;
– Third place – up to 18 thousand US dollars,” the message says.
It is also noted that state bonus Paralympians will receive until September 22.
According to the Minister of Youth and Sports Igor Zhdanov, orders have already been signed on the payment of rewards to athletes in judo, wheelchair fencing, powerlifting, rowing, bullet shooting, and paracanoe.
On Monday, September 19, they plan to sign orders on the payment of compensation to athletes in cerebral palsy football, athletics, swimming, table tennis and cycling, and the like.
Let us remind you that during the Paralympics, Ukrainians showed a sensational result and received 117 medals (41 gold, 37 silver and 39 bronze). Based on the results of the competition in Rio de Janeiro, the Ukrainian Paralympic team entered the top three in the overall medal standings.
