The decision on allocating a loan to Moldova will be made by the Russian government in the coming days.
President of Moldova Igor Dodon stated this today on the RTR Moldova TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We need to pass a law on a loan from the Russian Federation in March, which will be signed next week. Today a government resolution on the negotiation process was adopted. Otherwise, some were happy that there was a crisis in Russia and there would be no money,” Dodon said.
Russia will provide Moldova with a loan of 200 million euros for 2020. Interest rate – 2%. Terms – 11 years. The grace period is one year.
