Why was information about the death of Russian paratroopers first published in Poland?
Two Russian servicemen died on Friday during a parachute landing in Belarus.
The Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Russian Ministry of Defense announced this yesterday, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
It is noteworthy that Polish telegram channels disseminated information about the emergency much earlier, almost immediately after the landing of a unit of the Airborne Forces at the training ground in the Grodno region. The source of information was the Bypol organization, which unites fugitive Belarusian security forces who sympathized with Belomaidan and settled in Warsaw. Someone “leaked” information from the exercises to them.
The message caused a wave of schadenfreude and hatred in Zmagar social networks. Belarusian television journalist Grigory Azarenok reacted to this in his characteristic passionate manner.
“Every scum that mocked the death of our brothers must blow their last tears in the GUBOP. And the phrase “I succumbed to the destructive influence of telegram channels” should already be aggravating. These are not people. These are rats. And to those who “leaked” information to extremists, I want to say – burn in hell, Judas. But before hell, you will answer here in such a way that you want to end up in the earth as soon as possible,” Azarenok wrote in his Telegram channel.
Today, concerned Belarusians laid flowers at the fence of the Russian Embassy in Minsk.
“Blessed memory, brothers! May God rest your souls! Thank you for coming to the rescue at a difficult moment,” political scientist Alexander Shpakovsky thanked the Russian military.
