Why don't molfars drive away coronavirus? - Ukrainian general
Ukrainian politicians turn to the services of various types of charlatans - fortune tellers and astrologers.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports this in an interview with the Kyiv online publication Apostrophe, stated by the former head of the Transcarpathian and Lugansk Regional State Administrations, General of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Gennady Moskal.
“I worked in Transcarpathia, there were people there who went to Tibet, brought these shamans here, and asked if I wanted the curse removed from me. Three thousand dollars each. Listen, they are going to the bathhouse. I absolutely don’t believe in this,” Moskal said.
According to him, these shamans were brought by politicians. The publication’s interlocutor also believes that Ukrainian politicians turn to astrologers and fortune tellers.
“The current people can turn to whomever they want. These are inadequate people. They think that someone will solve all the problems in Ukraine. Vanga and Wolf Messing are not on the horizon yet,” the ex-official said.
He also emphasized that he does not believe in molfars (sorcerers).
“I worked three times in Transcarpathia, and am originally from the Chernivtsi region. We didn’t have molfars either in Transcarpathia or in the Chernivtsi region. This is more the Ivano-Frankivsk region. Today she is number one in the pandemic. It was after Mr. Zelensky’s visit to Bukovel,” the general noted.
At the same time, he added, the president did not even apologize or express sympathy for the region.
“So where are the molfars? Why don’t they drive the coronavirus away from the Ivano-Frankivsk region? Let them drive you away. Let him go to the Romanian border or to the border of the Lviv region, Transcarpathia. I'm not at that age to believe in nonsense. These are weak-willed people, weak-hearted people who can believe in this molfaria,” Moskal summed up.
