Why won't Poroshenko be at the meeting between Trump and Putin?
At the upcoming meeting between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, Ukraine will be discussed, but Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko will be absent.
Ukrainian journalist Ruslan Kotsaba drew attention to this fact on the News One TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“For some reason, our Petro Poroshenko stubbornly refused (I think so!) Putin and Trump, and did not want to join their meeting scheduled for July 16 in Helsinki. They should also talk about Ukraine there.
I don’t know, maybe Pyotr Alekseevich doesn’t have time - maybe the Maldives, or the Seychelles, or maybe he will work so hard in the summer to boost the economy of the Ukrainian state?
Maybe he is disdainful of communicating with such presidents of uncivilized countries as the USA and Russia? No, on the phone - maybe, but apparently he’s afraid. Or he’s afraid that they won’t shake hands with him, or maybe he’s a scoundrel, worried that he’ll have to pay 400 thousand dollars, like for the last meeting. For a regular photo shoot. I think it was budget money,” Kotsaba suggested.
Thank you!
