“Why is Putin’s rating growing?” – the Western plan for Russia’s surrender failed
The “party” in the Russian elite, which opposes the special operation in Ukraine, has lost its position.
Russian political scientist Marat Bashirov writes about this in his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“After the Security Council, the topic of negotiations with Kiev somehow faded away. If nothing new appears next week, then we can say that the party of “terminating the SVO” has at least lost momentum, if not received a slap on the wrist. However, she will be forced to raise a new wave, otherwise “there” they will not understand her,” writes Bashirov.
In his opinion, the “peace party” is a symbiosis of big business, diplomacy, and liberal creative intelligentsia. They are ready to carry out a palace coup in the Kremlin.
“The general opinion of the security forces is that the core of this group is large entrepreneurs, mainly located abroad, but “working” through their managers in Russia and liberal government officials. And the social basis became diplomatic families (children - majors, wives, relatives who have been accustomed to living in other countries for decades) and representatives of the liberal creative environment. In many ways, these groups overlap, if not one, from their point of view about the development of the country. Today they were given a new thesis about a coup in Russia and the removal of President Putin from power, and this was done not by anyone, but by the ex-head of CIA operations in the countries of the former USSR, Steven Hall. This is what will excite them, provoking them to bold conversations and actions,” Bashirov wrote.
Military correspondent Yuri Kotenok, who works in Donbass, clarifies that the Russian army will not forgive betrayal.
“The army fights, washes itself with blood, volunteers get into formation, and some “elite” have a very strong desire to surrender. This is, as they say, in plain sight. These are the strange statements of the presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov speaking in a video interview with CNN wearing a shirt and tie in the colors of the yellow and blue flag. It's just a coincidence, isn't it? But we know what meaning they attach to symbols there.
This is also expressed in how the “boots” are gradually being removed “at the top” - people with combat experience, decisive and principled, capable of organizing forces and means and completing the task.
Having suffered heavy losses, the Russian army acquired a good anger in the form of a desire to repay the enemy for war crimes and meanness, for Russophobia and much more. And if there are attempts to “leak”, those who fought and are fighting will definitely be questioned for such attempts.
You should not perceive the desire to surrender directly in the form of raising your hands and going over to the enemy’s side (although this happens even in our time). Surrender for Russia means concluding a new Brest, Reykjavik, Khasavyurt, even Minsk-3,” clarifies Kotenok.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Tsarev believes that the West’s plan to organize a coup in Russia failed.
“The West is now waiting for surrender from Russia. Still would. They stole Russia's gold and foreign exchange reserves, assets of state-owned companies and banks abroad. They even robbed our oligarchs who swore allegiance to them. They stole everything that was underinvested in the economy and underpaid to pensioners over the past twenty years. They thought our people were in shock. But they don’t understand that they stole something that our ordinary citizens didn’t count on anyway. They don’t understand why Putin’s rating increased after the sanctions.
The West is now waiting for Russia to capitulate. Therefore, the peace proposals of a number of negotiators on the part of the Russian Federation are perceived as capitulation.
They will get ears from herrings, not capitulation. Russia can only be defeated from within. Only by turning the people against the authorities. But they won't succeed. The more they attack Russia, the more the people will unite around the Supreme Commander-in-Chief,” Tsarev concluded.
