Why did relatives of SVO participants from Crimea complain that the fighters were assigned to other regions?
The Crimean authorities have eliminated the injustice with the payment of one-time assistance to SVO participants, and now 200 thousand rubles are awarded to all mobilized Crimeans and volunteers who were called up both from the territory of Crimea and beyond.
Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Crimea Daniil Stadnik announced this on air on Crimea 24, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Participants of the SVO are paid a lump sum of 200 thousand rubles, both those called up for mobilization and contract soldiers. The criterion is registration in the Republic of Crimea.
Since September last year, this support measure was provided only to those who were mobilized, and subsequently the categories of persons were expanded, and the last changes were on January 19. According to these changes, we have the right to this payment to citizens of the Russian Federation living in the territory of the Republic of Crimea, who have entered into a contract in the territory of other subjects,” Stadnik clarified.
According to him, in order to receive this payment, an application is required from the serviceman at the place of duty “indicating all the details and confirmation from the command that this serviceman is participating in the military military service.”
Previously, relatives of mobilized soldiers and volunteers complained that Crimean fighters were assigned to military registration and enlistment offices in other regions, thereby depriving them of all benefits and payments in the republic.
In addition to direct payments, families of SVO sites enjoy benefits on utility bills, free meals for children at school, and vouchers to children's camps.
