“Why so much hatred” – displaced people from Donetsk cannot rent housing in Lvov
Lvov, December 04 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Lvov, the owners of the Katerina Hotel, where about a hundred migrants from the Lugansk and Donetsk regions live, informed the refugees that they must move out by December 25, since there are no funds for their maintenance.

“All displaced people live for free. Therefore, the hotel is drowning in debt,” said the owner’s representative, Oleg Kolyas, as quoted by the Zaxid publication.
But the displaced people say that they would leave the hotel even today, but they have nowhere to go, the local residents do not rent them apartments. Lviv residents do not want to deal with displaced people, although people are ready to make large advance payments.
“I don’t understand why I’ve been looking for an apartment for three months now, for money, without benefits. They refuse me only because I am from Donetsk. I was at Euromaidan. I came to Lviv and felt so much hatred,” said Stanislav Fedorchuk, an immigrant from Donetsk, with despair.
However, the Lviv Regional State Administration assures that they are thinking about hostels and a sanatorium for displaced people, but this is a prospect for 2015. Therefore, while the settlers are joking, they say, spend the night under the Christmas tree.
As PolitNavigator reported, previously displaced people complained that rental prices were rising in the province.
