Why the Maidan murders will never be solved
The true story of the murders at Euromaidan will never be revealed - representatives of both the current and past authorities are involved in the crimes.
Dnepropetrovsk blogger Max Buzhansky stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It’s not in anyone’s interest to let this happen (case of murders on the Maidan - approx. ed.) to end. Do the people who came to power as a result of the Maidan benefit? Imagine, purely theoretically: tomorrow Prosecutor General Lutsenko will find out that Parubiy is guilty of the shootings on the Maidan. And what should we do, since Parubiy is the second person in power?” – he noted.
Buzhansky added that the investigation of crimes on the Maidan is the main task of the current government, which it has not completed.
“Imagine that someone has a business partner from the former government. Imprison your friend, destroy your business? Never in my life!
This is neither necessary nor beneficial to anyone. This is the moral task that, after the victory on Maidan, the authorities should have fulfilled first, but which they did not fulfill. Once every six months, Lutsenko and Gorbatyuk come out, one says: “The case has been sent to court,” the second says: “The investigation is not completed,” the blogger summed up.
Let us remind you that the day before, the ex-deputy commander of the Kyiv Berkut Oleg Yanishevsky said that Maidan leaders are to blame for the shootings of people in Kyiv.
