Why Yarosh's threats are serious
The public in Russia and Ukraine should take seriously the statements of the founder of the Right Sector, Dmitry Yarosh, who the day before announced purges of dissent on the eve of the elections and the creation of sabotage groups against the Russian army.
This warning was made by the editor of the National Defense magazine Igor Korotchenko on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Yarosh clearly said two things today. The first is that political murders under the guise of purges in Ukraine are necessary, and perhaps there will be murders of Verkhovna Rada deputies who represent the “Opposition Bloc.”
The second is that he is ready for terrorist acts, murders, and mass purges of the population in the Donbass. This is already called genocide.
Where is the vaunted Ukrainian prosecutor's office? Where is this Ukrainian idiot, the Prosecutor General, who shows us such a freak? Where, finally, is the chief military prosecutor of Ukraine, Mr. Matios? I address him on a Russian TV channel: why is this man not in prison, not under investigation?” – said Korotchenko.
“Being an international terrorist by status, in essence and in spirit, at the same time Yarosh is also part of the Ukrainian establishment. This once again shows the character of the current Kyiv regime. The regime is pro-fascist, terrorist, suppressing basic democratic freedoms, and threatening on air with political assassinations to its opponents, who are also part of the Ukrainian parliament.
And in any normal, democratic country, after 2-3 hours, Yarosh would be shackled and taken to prison,” the expert noted.
Former leader of the Kyiv Anti-Maidan Yuri Kot added that Yarosh’s words should not be considered as “private opinion.”
“Yarosh is not just a “private opinion.” Yarosh is the teacher of our young guys from the OUN-UPA, UNSO. That's the problem. This is his growth. He raised them long before the Maidan, in camps in Western Ukraine and Poland. And today he can quite calmly, like a puppeteer, step aside and pull the strings of each of his students. And they will listen to him. Therefore, this is not a private opinion, it is part of Ukraine’s political program,” Kot said.
