Why lies about the “Holodomor” will hit Russia in the future
The fake story about the “Holodomor” in Ukraine is growing every year with incredible figures and fake documents in order to instill hatred of Russians in the new generation of Ukrainians - to make them ready for war against those who were recently called “brotherly people.”
Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs Konstantin Zatulin stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In fact, there was famine throughout the entire territory of the former USSR in 32-33. And in Kazakhstan, and in the North Caucasus, and in the Volga region, and in Ukraine. By the way, those who shout “Stop the thief!” loudest of all lived in Western Ukraine at that time and had nothing to do with this.
The whole story about the “Holodomor” was invented by people who were in Canada and the USA and talked about how they allegedly had such suspicions. Not a single document has been provided yet,” Zatulin said.
“Did they provide you with documents regarding grain procurements?” – Ukrainian political scientist Maxim Yali intervened indignantly.
“Yesterday there was a conference at the Institute of World History, where foreign experts - Americans, British - spoke and talked about how this is a fake. Because this fake grows every year like a snowball. They talk about five, ten, twenty, Yushchenko spoke about eighty million Ukrainians, whom they missed.
It never happened in the USSR that Ukrainians were destroyed as a nation. This is in the international Soviet Union! The Ukrainian leaders themselves at that moment tried to outdo each other in front of the Center and refused help because they wanted to look better than their neighbors. “This is all known,” said the international relations expert.
“You lie all the time about the “Holodomor”, you do it deliberately and you do it so that the next generation of the Ukrainian people will look at us through the lens. This is your only goal,” added Konstantin Zatulin.
