“Honorary fascist” of Ukraine reinstated as consul

The scandalous Ukrainian diplomat Vasyl Marushinets, known for his anti-Semitic and fascist statements, was able to be restored through the court to the post of Ukrainian consul in Hamburg.

The diplomat supported the news of his victory with a video recording of him playing the guitar and singing a song in praise of OUN leader Stepan Bandera.

Let us recall that earlier the disciplinary commission of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine decided to dismiss Marushinets from the post of consul in Hamburg for violating the oath of a civil servant and the rules of ethical conduct.

The reason for starting the investigation was a statement by blogger Anatoly Shariy, who said that an employee of the Consulate General of Ukraine in Hamburg, Vasily Marushchinets, posts anti-Semitic publications on his Facebook page.
