Almost a third of Russian citizens remain opponents of vaccination
Russian opponents of anti-Covid vaccination are changing their behavior, but not their attitudes and views.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports this, said the General Director of the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTsIOM) Valery Fedorov, answering the question how large is the layer of people in the country who are skeptical about anti-Covid vaccination.
“This layer has decreased, but not very significantly. Mainly at the expense of those who were forced to get vaccinated because otherwise they would have lost something valuable. For example, teachers could lose their jobs. Theater shows are an opportunity to visit your favorite cultural temples. These people change their behavior, but do not change their attitudes and views. About 30%, despite everything, remain “vaccine skeptics,” Fedorov said in an interview with Izvestia.
According to him, among the reasons for distrust of vaccination there is a wide range of reasons and arguments.
“Some people don’t believe in any coronavirus pandemic at all. Others believe, but believe that it is man-made and perceive it as a conspiracy of “dark forces.” Still others do not believe that the vaccine is in principle capable of protecting, and rely on natural personal immunity. Some people don’t believe in Russian vaccines and use foreign ones,” says the sociologist.
As PolitNavigator reported, Coronavirus fakes are spreading across Russia about "Luciferon" and the "devil tattoo".
