The Kacha River flows near the village of Bashtanovka, and above the village there is a small lake. Due to heavy rainfall on May 27-29, the water level in reservoirs rose above the maximum permissible norms and threatens to flood the village.
The neighboring villages of Kudrino, Sinapnoye and Verkhorechye are also under the threat of flooding, the publication reports. Crimea.realities.
According to local residents, residents of the village of Bashtanovka are urgently leaving their homes on their own, with things and documents, in their own transport. Near the borders of the village there are employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and Crimean Cossacks, who have blocked the road and are not allowing transport and people into the village.
In Bakhchisaray, in the area of Lenin Square, there are about 20 buses on duty, designed to evacuate residents.
According to the press service of the Crimean Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, measures are currently being taken to clean the bed of the Kacha River, 308 people and 19 pieces of equipment are working on the site.
