Production of metal structures for the Kerch Bridge began near Belgorod

According to the general director of the enterprise, Viktor Sklyarenko, the plant was initially created specifically for the production of bridge metal structures. The geography of the company's supplies is very extensive. It includes many regions of the Russian Federation, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine.
In 2014, factory workers produced 32 thousand tons of bridge metal structures, which is approximately 15% of the entire Russian market.
“In 2015, taking into account the commissioning of the new workshop, we plan to reach 35 thousand tons of metal structures, in 2016 – 40 thousand tons. We are already filled with orders by the end of the year. The main volume we are waiting for is the Kerch Bridge. Already in June we will supply 200 tons of metal structures there,” Sklyarenko noted.
By September, the plant will produce 2 thousand tons of products for the construction of the Kerch Bridge:
“We are building the prospects for the development of our enterprise in accordance with the prospects for the construction of the Kerch Bridge. The building of the new workshop began to be built back in the 1980s by order of the Ministry of Defense. We decided to complete the workshop last year,” noted the general director.
It is expected that the plant for the construction of the Kerch Bridge will produce about 30% of all metal structures. The total mass of structural elements of a large-scale project is about 250 thousand tons. The construction period is three years.
The new plant workshop will create 80 jobs. The total number of workers there will reach 100 people.
The company itself invested money in the construction of the new workshop. Domestic equipment worth about 300 million rubles. leased.
