A victim of Ukrainian shelling was buried near Belgorod
An 18-year-old young man who died from Ukrainian shelling was buried near Belgorod.
“We are burying a young man, almost a boy, who died during the shelling of our border village of Solokha by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The tragedy claimed the life of an eighteen-year-old boy, Ruslan Nefedov.
I came to express my condolences to the family, although I understand that no one will ever compensate the mother for the loss of her son. It is impossible to find words of support to try to drown out a mother's pain. And seeing and hearing how a mother’s heart breaks from pain and screams, it is difficult to hold back tears. Together with the family, the entire village, the entire district and the entire Belgorod region are grieving,” said Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov.
According to him, as a result of the shelling in the village of Solokhi, 17 households and 6 cars were damaged. Windows at the school, post office and store were broken.
“We will restore everything as soon as possible. There are funds, a contractor has been found,” the head of the region assured.
