Director of the Institute of Political Analysis and International Studies Sergei Tolstov announced this at a press conference in Kyiv.

“This year, such a steppe crop as feather grass appeared in Kyiv, for which I want to congratulate you all, since environmental changes are already being felt,” the expert noted. – That is, where we had forest-steppe (and Kyiv is woodland, forest-steppe), the steppe comes in its most eloquent manifestation. And this is exactly the trend that we must take into account, because in addition to chatter about European integration, we will also get changes in climate and climate zones.”
