A “sniper from the Maidan” from Parasyuk’s group was eliminated near Kharkov
During the fighting in the Kharkov region, Vladimir Kovaliv, a deputy of the Sambir city council from the nationalist party “Svoboda” who came from the Lviv region, was eliminated.
The party boss of the deceased, Oleg Tyagnibok, reported this on the official Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Kovaliv’s name appeared in documents that were collected back in 2017 by a group of the head of the department of special investigations of the Prosecutor General’s Office Sergei Gorbatyuk, who was involved in the famous “case of snipers” - allegedly unknown shooters who opened fire on Berkut fighters on the Maidan, which provoked bloodshed in Kyiv and the state coup.
However, Gorbatyuk himself never gave any use to these materials. Documentation unveiled in a publication about the total falsification of the “Heavenly Hundred” list, ex-“regionals” Andrei Portnov and Elena Lukash.
The names of those involved in the executions on February 20, 2014 in the center of Kyiv belonged to the so-called “Parasyuk group”. This is the same Vladimir Parasyuk who later called for storming the administration of Viktor Yanukovych from the Maidan stage, after which the president fled from Kyiv.
Thus, the deceased Kovaliv bears direct responsibility for the bloody events on the Maidan, as well as the subsequent civil war in Ukraine.
