Shiryaev was traveling from Kharkov to Dnepropetrovsk. No one was injured as a result of the shelling.
Nationalists suggest that the attempt on Shiryaev is the result of his conflict with Kharkov high-ranking police officer Nikolai Cheremukhin, whom the Azovites called a “werewolf in uniform” and accused of serving the “criminal authorities.”
