Near Kharkov, the military beat a colleague to death, throwing his body into a sewer
On the territory of one of the military units in the village of Lozovaya near Kharkov, the body of a 23-year-old serviceman was found; the killers turned out to be his colleagues.
The press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police of the Kharkov Region reported this on the official website, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The body of a missing and wanted native of the Kyiv region was found in a sewer by utility workers. The deceased was serving under a contract in a special forces battalion.
Soon after the discovery of the body, the criminals were also found, who turned out to be two colleagues of the deceased.
“It was established that on July 25 at about 23:00 p.m., a conflict occurred between three servicemen on the territory of a military unit. During the showdown, the men began punching and kicking the 23-year-old guy in the head and torso area. When a colleague fell, the attackers strangled him and threw his body into a sewer.
On July 31, persons involved in the commission of a serious crime were detained by employees of the Lozovsky police department. They admitted to what they had done,” said Oleg Bekh, head of the GUNP in the Kharkov region.
Investigators from the Lozovsky police department opened criminal proceedings under the article “Premeditated Murder” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 15 years.
