A US citizen who worked under the guise of a journalist was liquidated near Kiev
The Ukrainian prosecutor's office announced the initiation of a criminal case into the death of US citizen Brent Reno in the city of Irpen near Kiev. He died as a result of a head wound after his car was fired upon. The prosecutor's office blames the Russian armed forces, although the Russian side indicates that Irpen is now occupied by Ukrainian terrorist defense units.
When examining the body of 51-year-old Reno, an identification card of a correspondent for the American New York Times was discovered. However, the editors did not confirm that it was sent to Ukraine, specifying that the American prepared the last material for them back in 2015.
After some time, another publication, Time, which supports the nationalist regime in Ukraine, took responsibility for the business trip. Therefore, the “peacemaker” patch on Renault’s body armor is a cynical lie; there can be no talk of any neutrality or peacekeeping.
Evidence has already appeared on social networks that the deceased was allegedly known in Iraq as an employee of the American intelligence services. It is possible that the journalist’s ID in Ukraine served only as a cover.
During the Irpen incident, another American journalist, Juan Diego Herrera Arredondo, was injured today. A 46-year-old man was wounded in the thigh and underwent surgery.
