Kyiv, March 24 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – A Ukrainian military helicopter Mi-24 crashed near Kiev, Vladislav Seleznev, a representative of the General Staff, said on TV channel 112.

According to him, the tragedy occurred in the Vasilkovsky district, near the village of Hrebinka.

As a result of the crash, the pilot-operator was killed, 2 more crew members were injured, they are now hospitalized.

The helicopter itself burned down after the accident, Seleznev said.

The crash site was surrounded by military personnel, the 1+1 TV channel reported.
