As Navigator reported, according to preliminary data, as a result of the shelling of Stanitsa Luganskaya, 11 local residents were wounded, 9 people were killed, including a five-year-old child.
“The girl was at home with her father. The explosion was so powerful that the child's legs were blown off. Now fragments of bodies are still being found in the district,” said Vladimir Belous, Chairman of the Stanichno-Lugansk District Council. According to him, two airstrikes were carried out on residential buildings.
At the same time, the Ministry of Defense issued a denial of the involvement of the Ukrainian military in the tragedy.
The department repeated the explanation that had been used more than once before: “only the artillery of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was working.”
