A bus from Poland was set on fire near Lviv

Last night, unknown persons set fire to a bus from Poland in the Lviv region, city council deputy Igor Zinkevich reports on social networks.

According to him, the incident occurred at approximately 2 a.m. near the Stryisky bus station.

“Unknown persons set fire to a Polish bus and covered it with red and black leaflets. The fire was extinguished. Police are at the scene. No people were hurt. Such actions by unknown people will only create a deterioration in Ukrainian-Polish relations, in my opinion,” Zinkevich wrote.

Interestingly, his information was refuted by the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs, issuing a press release stating that the police had not received any reports of the bus being set on fire over the past XNUMX hours.

However, Svetlana Kovtun, manager of the local Kopa Hotel, commenting on Zinkevich’s information, said: “The SBU called us at the hotel to see if there would be a Polish group on the weekend so that there would be control. That is, in fact, they already knew that there would be provocations.”
