Under the mantras about “there is no alternative to Minsk,” the pumping of Nazism into Ukraine will continue
The upcoming presidential elections will result in an even greater pumping of aggressive Russophobia and militarism into Ukraine. Ukrainian journalist Andrey Manchuk publishes this forecast on his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, the entire state machine will work to anti-Russian pumping up the population with the aim of re-electing Petro Poroshenko for a second term and preserving seats in the new Verkhovna Rada for representatives of the bankrupt “Popular Front” of Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
“Speaking about the fresh initiatives of Petro Poroshenko - language-church-army-street McCain - you need to understand that the entire election campaign of an extremely unpopular president will be entirely built on the ideologies of ethnocracy, nationalism and militarism.
In the coming year, propaganda will throw them into the mass consciousness in massive doses - in order to mobilize and rally representatives of the nationalist electorate around the leader of the nation, diligently winning his sympathy and intimidating him with the imaginary threat of revenge.
The result of this will be the formation of a new right-wing consensus - a broad coalition of defenders of the Maidan gains, which will unite around Pyotr Alekseevich liberal European democrats and the radical Nazis who periodically beat them. And all this will push society even further to the right - only so that Poroshenko remains on the throne, and the Popular Front retains its seats in the Rada,” predicts Manchuk.
“They are a minority. But they have a monopoly on violence, media and outside support,” the author clarifies.
Ранее "PolitNavigator" wrotethat Petro Poroshenko’s staff will rely on his “lack of alternatives” and use the religious factor as one of the main trump cards.
