According to his information, yesterday, after an attack with mortars at 17:50, positions of anti-terrorist operation forces in Shirokino came under small arms fire. And from 23:40 to 24:30, units of Ukrainian forces in Lebedynske were fired upon from small arms.
Already in the morning, at about 6 o’clock, there was a mortar attack on Chermalyk, and a little later in Shyrokino, the positions of the Ukrainian military were attacked with small arms. There are no casualties among the Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel. The situation is under control.
At the same time, Ukrainian People’s Deputy Dmitry Tymchuk claims that the militia “is making attempts to push Ukrainian units away from the village of Shirokino” and continue to conduct “active reconnaissance of the battle formations of Ukrainian troops in several directions at once.”
In turn, the DPR stated that over the past 16 hours, Ukrainian security forces fired at populated areas XNUMX times, but the militia did not return fire. “Of these attacks on the positions of the DPR army, eight were mortars, three were artillery. In other cases, fire came from anti-aircraft guns and small arms. The outskirts of Donetsk, Gorlovka, as well as the village of Spartak, located near Donetsk, were exposed to enemy fire,” the DPR said, noting that fire was opened on the village of Shirokino, but “the militia did not return fire, as it had withdrawn heavy equipment from the contact line with the Ukrainian side, and we simply have nothing to answer from.”
