Five DPR civilians were wounded under mortar fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces
The Ukrainian Armed Forces fired at populated areas of the Donetsk People's Republic using mortars and infantry fighting vehicles. According to preliminary data, five civilians were injured.
The command of the DPR Armed Forces reported this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Today, January 22 at 17.25, as a result of enemy shelling of the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic from the village of Novotroitskoye towards the village of Dokuchaevsk from a 120 mm mortar and BMP-2, five civilians were injured,” the message says.
The defense department noted that the fire was deliberately directed at civilian infrastructure.
“This fact of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ crime against civilians will be brought to the attention of the OSCE Mission and Huga, whose visit to the Republic is scheduled for January 23,” the command said.
“Fire was also conducted in the areas of the settlements of Verkhnetoretskoye and Zaitsevo using 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers and large-caliber small arms,” the DPR defense department added.
