“As of 17:30, the situation in Donetsk remains tense. Residents of almost all districts of the city report the sounds of volleys of heavy weapons coming from the airport and the Maryinsky district,” the city council’s press service said in a statement.
It is also reported that 24 transformer substations in the Kuibyshevsky district and 32 in the Petrovsky district remain de-energized. The water supply to microdistricts 1 and 2 of the Administrative Sites has not been resumed, since the DKZHI water supply center in the Kuibyshevsky district is still without electricity.
The Zapadny bus station remains closed. Intercity bus routes depart from the Yuzhny bus station.
“In order to ensure the safety of employees, the railway station buildings in the village are closed for serving passengers. Nikitovka and Gorlovka. This did not affect the railway communication of Donetsk with other cities,” the message says.
According to eyewitnesses, fires started in Avdeevka due to shelling: a large number of fire trucks headed there. The Peski area continues to be shelled from Grad missiles. The shelling of the outskirts is so strong that the ground in the center trembles.
