Protesters continuously walk along the pedestrian crossing and promise not to let traffic pass until the regional leadership pays attention to their problems. So far, none of the officials have come to them, reports the Odessa Life publication.

The reason for such a radical action was a significant increase in water tariffs. Residents of Teplodar, which is located closer to the Dniester water pumping station than Odessa, are puzzled why their tariffs are higher.

Drivers are asked to bypass this section of the highway through Ovidiopol, the Karolino-Bugaz spit and Belgorod-Dnestrovsky.

As PolitNavigator reported, Ukrainians in various regions are attending rallies against tariff increases.
