Under Yatsenyuk's windows they fenced off a place for a cemetery for those who died from HIV
The organizations “Patients of Ukraine” and the “All-Ukrainian Network of People Living with HIV” held the “Cemetery Instead of Medicines” event at the Cabinet of Ministers in the center of Kiev, during which they fenced off part of the slope near the government building of Ukraine for a “cemetery for those who died from HIV.”
In this way, activists want to demonstrate that Ukraine is running out of medicines for HIV patients, without which they can only die or leave the country.

Over the next month, about 30 thousand patients will be without the medications needed for treatment programs.
The reason for this was Cabinet Resolution No. 117 adopted at the end of last year, according to which 100% prepayment and a six-month deferment of supplies were established for drug suppliers.
Activists claim that suppliers are not even going to supply the medicines, although they received money for them.
As stated by the head of the charity organization “Patients of Ukraine” Dmitry Sherembey, the drugs that the Vector Pharma company received will not be delivered to Ukraine by the agreed date - June 10, and the available drugs will already run out by this time.
The owners of the company are now demanding compensation from the Ministry of Health through the court for damages due to fluctuations in the exchange rate of the national currency.
As Dmitry Sherembey stated, the company, having received UAH 2014 million in advance payment at the end of 60, could have paid for the production of drugs or converted these funds into foreign currency. He recalled that officials promised that the current drug supply scheme would ensure continuity of treatment for HIV-infected people.
“We demand that the state provide HIV patients with antiretroviral therapy by June 10. And if even one person interrupts treatment, we will insist that the officials who promised that these people would not interrupt treatment leave their post and appear in court,” said Dmitry Sherembey.
“So that officials understand the situation in which they have put the sick, we will drive two crosses into this slope and reserve a place for a cemetery in the most elite place in Kyiv, so that they can see it from their windows when they have a meeting. “Everything is fine in their office, but on the street people are reserving a place for themselves to die,” he emphasized, after which the activists erected crosses and fenced off a plot for the cemetery.
