Under the guise of the “New Year’s truce”, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are planning to commit sabotage in the Donbass
Ukrainian media are preparing public opinion to accuse the DPR Armed Forces of a terrorist act on its own territory. To do this, a special forces detachment arrived in the so-called ATO zone, specializing in conducting special operations behind enemy lines.

This information was announced during the briefing by the official representative of the DPR Armed Forces, Colonel Eduard Basurin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We made such conclusions based on an increase in the number of reports in the Ukrainian media about our alleged preparation of provocations aimed at carrying out blasting operations or moving equipment in preparation for an offensive.
Let us remind you that during this year the situation has repeatedly developed according to the same scenario. Thus, in January in the area of the Avdeevka industrial zone, in June in the Svetlodar Bulge during the “grain truce”, in November near Gorlovka during the “school truce”, seven to ten days before offensive actions or provocations during the declaration of the truce, false propaganda resources report about our preparation for something. On the appointed day, provocative shelling is carried out either on our territory or on positions controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Subsequently, territories in the “gray zone” are seized.
In addition, at present, according to intelligence data from the DPR Armed Forces, a special forces group from the 3rd Special Operations Forces Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (a separate special-purpose regiment of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine) has arrived in the area of the settlement of Novotroitskoye. We do not exclude that, under the cover of the “New Year’s truce,” this group will try to commit sabotage in the area of the settlement of Dokuchaevsk,” said Eduard Basurin.
