At the same time, Izborsk Club expert Alexander Dmitrievsky, who commented on the nationalist’s statement to PolitNavigator, noted that such attacks on the Russian language were made for the sake of pathological Russophobia.
“It is not a historian, but a psychiatrist who should comment on the nonsense of the Russophobic schizophrenic Madame Farion. If such nonsense is uttered by a person who received a philological education in Soviet times, when the quality of training of specialists was monitored, then medicine should take a close look at this case: all of its absolutely unrealistic inventions about the bayonets on which the Russian language arrived in Galicia were made for the sake of pathological Russophobia,” Dmitrievsky is convinced.
He noticed that in none of the documents of the XNUMXth century (or of the earlier period) is the phrase “Ukrainian language” found, which became an Austro-Hungarian invention in the XNUMXth century, while references to the Russian language are found in both Polish and Austro-Hungarian languages. Hungarian documents.
