Parliament must consider this document at an extraordinary meeting, scheduled to begin at 16:00. However, the entrepreneurs came in advance - “to make sure that the deputies were at their workplaces, in the session hall, and did not run away before the start of the extraordinary meeting on our issues.”

When the activists came to the parliament building, they were forbidden to set up a stage, since a large stage had already been built there for a rally of the OPZZh party and some other political forces. The opposition did not want to let entrepreneurs dissatisfied with the government onto their stage.

Before the FOP members had time to start the action, the police detained the leader of the movement, Sergei Dorotich, for “playing on camera.” Nobody explained what this means.

“If they think that by taking Dorotich they will disperse us, we will not leave here day or night until our bill is passed. Because for more than nine months people have been standing in rain, snow, and heat. Our patience has run out. Those who do not vote for our bills today will leave in garbage cans. We will not let anyone out of the Verkhovna Rada, because our patience has run out,” the protesters said.

“When we stand here for nine months in the heat and cold, freezing, they don’t see or hear us. And today they hid. This means that the green ones will become green from the next session. We will collect all the greenery from this Ukraine, and they will definitely turn green,” the protesters promised.

The protesters wanted to block traffic on Grushevsky Street, but security forces pushed them off the roadway and blocked them. As a result of the collision, one of the activists injured her leg. The police also prevented protesters from approaching the parliament building.

However, a few hours later, law enforcement officers released Sergei Dorotich - after a lawyer came to see him.

“After my lawyer arrived, just let me go. They didn't bring any charges against me, they just told me that I was free. This is some kind of chaos, they were detained in the center of the capital in front of hundreds of people and journalists without any justification. Now I’m going to the State Bureau of Investigation to write a statement about illegal actions of police officers,” said Dorotich.

At the moment, Ukrainian entrepreneurs continue to be on duty near the Verkhovna Rada, awaiting consideration of bills that interest them.
