According to the head of the Central Election Commission of the Kurultai of the Crimean Tatars, Zair Smedlyaev, the search is carried out by several employees of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee in Crimea in the presence of Dzhelal himself and a lawyer, reports Crimea.realities.
The basis for the search was a criminal case on the events of February 26, 2014 outside the walls of the Crimean parliament in Simferopol.
“Dzhelal is involved in this case as a witness,” Smedlyaev noted.
Currently, his relatives and friends are near Jelal’s house.
