According to the website of the Donbasenergo PJSC company, as a result of the fighting at the station, two transformers, the building of the main building of the power plant were damaged, a fuel oil tank with a capacity of 2 thousand tons was damaged, and a fuel oil leak occurred. As a result of the damage, the power transmission lines Slavyanskaya TPP-Zmievskaya TPP and Slavyanskaya TPP-LIP were disconnected.
“Huge smoke can be seen from Nikolaevka. If this is a thermal power plant, then soon we will all be without electricity,” local residents write on social networks.
Also, according to eyewitnesses, shelling of the center of Kramatorsk continues.
“They hit the center. A shell hit a boarding school on the street. Voznesensky. The children were evacuated back in May. There are traces of blood at the entrance, a passerby was hit,” they report.
