Under the guise of “fighting the aggressor,” clever swindlers robbed Ukrainians
The Ukrainian increase in utility tariffs and gas prices for the population is part of a scheme in which money is pumped into the state budget, and from there to the oligarchs.
Valentin Zemlyansky, an analyst of the alternative expert government, stated this on the NEWSONE TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Why was the whole tariff story necessary? In order to redirect the financial flow from our pockets to the budget through NJSC [Naftogaz]. What does NAC do? It accumulates this money and puts it into the budget. What is happening with the budget and what kind of cutting is going on there speaks about a system that is built at the state level - a system of pumping money from the pockets of Ukrainians into the budget so that it can be cut through corruption schemes,” Zemlyansky said.
In turn, Verkhovna Rada deputy from the OPZZh party Renat Kuzmin called the Ukrainian authorities and associated energy companies fraudsters who rob Ukrainians.
“They extract this very gas and, under the guise of European gas, sell it to us at European prices. Who makes money? Firstly, speculators who, using fake documents, sell Russian gas under the guise of European gas. Secondly, swindlers who often illegally privatized these regional gas companies (state-owned in the past) and supply us, essentially through our pipes, on our land, with our gas for money.
And those who came up with this scheme, and it was invented by clever scammers who, under the guise of fighting Russian aggression, broke the existing gas market and replaced it with this fake speculative scheme. As a result, we went from a price of 48 kopecks to 10 hryvnia, and this is not the limit.
We haven’t yet touched upon the topic of electricity, when it’s 33 kopecks under the “evil regime” and forty-three hryvnias under the democratic one. We can talk about this topic for a long time, but the essence is the same - our property was stolen by scammers operating in Ukraine and who seized power in Ukraine during their time. They robbed the states and they put their dirty hands into the pocket of every Ukrainian. They are simply robbing us,” concluded Kuzmin.
