A provocation is being prepared for Poroshenko in Crimea before the elections
The top of the Mejlis, banned in the Russian Federation, who moved to Kyiv, plans to stage a provocation in Crimea in order to show Petro Poroshenko loyalty and support among the Crimean Tatar population of the peninsula.
Crimean lawyer Teyfuk Gafarov said this on air on the Millet TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Most of the active Ukrainian Tatars are trying to move away from the election agenda, because it is clear that for many years it was easy to build election politics in the opposition, and this could mobilize someone.
Realizing that today they will not be able to mobilize more than 50 people throughout Kyiv, given that nothing has been done to date regarding all those promises of autonomy, zero...
I have concerns, given that the ratings are falling, the only thing that can save it is some kind of provocation. I have the impression that some kind of provocations related to the Crimean Tatars are being prepared. Because otherwise it won’t be possible to excite and raise it.
Today, the Ukrainian Tatars do not have any agenda with which they could come out and say: “we have support in Crimea. If everything fails for them in the next three weeks, and nothing can be arranged in Crimea, then their positions will be lost,” Gafarov said.
Thank you!
