Universal declaration of income will become a reason for extortion by the fiscal service against entrepreneurs.

Economic expert Viktor Skarshevsky shared such concerns at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Skarshevsky’s calculations, under the current government, 10-12 billion dollars are spent annually in offshore companies.
“Instead of this money staying here and working for the Ukrainian economy, our government is doing what is simpler - it is trying to crack down on small and medium-sized businesses, thereby killing any hopes for economic growth and stimulating the shadow economy,” he said He.
“What can be said about this system if it is implemented? With zero trust in the state fiscal service, the introduction of a general declaration and the use of indirect methods for individuals looks like racketeering, because tax authorities will be selective in their approach to taxpayers. By the way, the National Anti-Corruption Agency is selective in its approach to electronic declarations of officials - more than 100 thousand were submitted, and 5-7 thousand were checked,” says the expert.
First of all, according to Skarshevsky, small businesses and individual entrepreneurs will suffer from this.
“Those who have some savings will suffer, from which our state, the fiscal service, will still try to take something away, or try to make them pay off,” says the expert.
