Today, 57 soldiers who died in the Ilovaisk cauldron in August last year were buried at the Kuybyshevsky cemetery in the Zaporozhye region.

According to the military commissar of the Zaporozhye regional military commissariat, Alexander Bida, more than 80 bodies were prepared for the funeral, but they were identified the day before and handed over to relatives for reburial.

This is the second mass burial of soldiers who died in the Donbass in the Zaporozhye region. Last October, 54 servicemen who died in eastern Ukraine were buried at the same place. To date, 21 bodies have been identified and exhumed. They were handed over to relatives for reburial.
