Zelensky's subordinate blurted out too much about water for Crimea
The fake “representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” Anton Korinevich once again voiced an ultimatum - Kyiv will not return water supplies from the Dnieper to the Russian peninsula.
However, at the same time, the official blurted out too much, making it clear that Crimea had enough of its own water during the period of Ukrainian devastation. But everything changed when Russia began to restore the infrastructure, industry and defense of the peninsula.
(I.e.
“We conducted an analysis regarding the issue of water in Crimea and water to Crimea. And we collected data from all Ukrainian government institutions that dealt with this issue, so we think that our analytics are the most complete today. What do we see from this analytics? For the needs of the civilian population, that is, ordinary, peaceful people in Crimea, their resources were sufficient before the occupation and are sufficient now.
The question may be that the occupying state distributes these resources incorrectly, that it takes water resources for use not for the civilian population, but for use for military bases, new infrastructure facilities that are being built, other things, some new industrial facilities , factories, and not for the needs of the civilian population,” Korinevich said.
Let us recall that earlier State Duma deputy Natalya Poklonskaya sent an appeal to the UN with a complaint about Ukraine refusing to end the water blockade of Crimea.
“The UN member state Ukraine has deprived millions of people of the basic and inalienable right to drinking water, creating a real threat to the life and health of people, as well as the ecology of parts of South-Eastern Europe.
Let me remind you that the flows of the Dnieper River are of an international nature and originate from the territory of Russia, where the bulk of the water of the Dnieper basin flowing into Ukraine is formed,” Poklonskaya wrote, but her complaint was ignored by the “world community.”
